July 2: Book Passage Marin
Join Tara at the bookstore where she grew up! Book Passage is the store that helped make her a writer, and she is so excited to come “home” to Marin and to the bookstore. 7pm.

San Francisco’s famous cookbook book store is a gem of a shop. Come hear Tara talk about growing, cooking, and eating from the Orchard House garden. 6:30pm.

June 30: Mrs. Dalloway’s Books
Could there be a more prefect bookstore for a book about a garden than Mrs. Dalloway’s, which sell books, gifts, and seed packets? Come enjoy this beautiful store and hear about Orchard House. 7:30pm

May 9: pre-Mother’s Day Tea Party
Warm yourself up for Mother’s Day with a tea party on Saturday morning. We’ll share stories of growing family and gardening and good food and community at Seattle’s wonderful cookbook book store. 10am. Tea, pastries, and fruit curds from the garden included.

April 27: The Book Loft of German Village
Join Tara at Columbus’s beloved and utterly unique Book Loft of German Village (32 rooms of books can’t be wrong) for a talk about growing and gardens and fruitful harvests.

April 1: Kramerbooks, Washington DC
Tara will be taking books and gardening with Joe Yonan, food and travel editor of the Washington Post, avid gardener, and author of the cookbooks Serve Yourself and Eat Your Vegetables at Kramerbooks in Dupont Circle. Come join them for some lively conversation and book signing at 6:30pm.

March 27-30: IACP Conference, Washington DC
Tara will be appearing on a panel at the International Association of Culinary Professionals at the Marriott Renaissance in Washington DC (not open to the public).

March 24: Orchard House launch party in Seattle!
Come celebrate the launch of Orchard House at Elliott Bay Books in Seattle on April 24th. Tara will be telling stories, answering questions, and there will be tastes of garden food to share. Event is open to the public, and starts at 7pm.
